Rory_CareShop_smallCare Shop has made a donation to local Manchester charity the Society for Abandoned Animals (SAA) to help with the day to day running of their re-homing centre. We made a donation of black bin bags which will ensure that high levels of cleanliness are maintained across the centre which provides shelter for dogs, cats and rabbits looking for a loving home. The bin bags are essential for the sanctuary during the regular cleaning process of animal pens and bedding. The bags will also be used for transportation of donated goods which are sold at local fairs and jumble sales; vital when SAA are raising funds. As SAA continue to work towards their target of £96,000 to expand their cat rehoming facility and support increasing demand of cats requiring shelter, the Care Shop donation was greatly welcomed. Speaking of the donation, Steve Lenihan, Financial Controller at Care Shop said: "We are delighted to be able to make a donation to SAA who work tirelessly to improve the welfare of animals in need of a new home in the local area." "They are dependent on the generosity of others, so Care Shop understands that even the smallest of donations can make a significant difference to their daily operations." "We hope that their important work long continues and that the opportunity arises to support SAA again in the future." Visit www.saarescue.co.uk to see how you can help.
